We offer private horseback riding lessons tailored to each individual, whether beginner or advanced. We believe that private lessons provide greater benefits than group lessons, however the lessons are given in an arena with multiple riders present so that all riders experience equine traffic and safe riding procedures in realistic surroundings.
- For new riders, we concentrate on fun and keeping it safe.
- For experienced riders, Jeffrey Wilms will address their specific issues, help them improve their posture and balance, and develop lighter hands and accurate cues. He'll expertly find and correct small flaws that interfere with the movement of the horse, improving their seat.
The arena setting gives each student a chance to observe other riders at different performance levels from multiple disciplines, allowing them to build their skills naturally, developing better control and balance at their own pace. The Wilms program is designed to ensure that everyone has a fun, enjoyable ride while improving their abilities and gaining confidence as a horseman or horsewoman.
